Want to learn the basics of Yoga? Lighthouse is offering an online video class that introduces you to the some basic and essential yoga philosophies. Additionally, it will help you understand the 8 limbs of yoga, as well as how to apply yoga to your everyday life. At the end of the series, we'll teach you a simple Yoga sequence that you can use everyday
This class will lay down the foundation and alignment of the yoga poses while teaching you how to incorporate the breath with your movement. This class is perfect for learning the basics of yoga. A great place to start!
Introduction to Flow
This is the perfect way to ease into a more advanced class. This class will help you build strength and flexibility as you learn to move more fluidly through the yoga postures. It will incorporate some advanced breath techniques as you cultivate a better understanding of how yoga can be a moving meditation. It is energizing, but gentle.
This class is a moving meditation designed to make you sweat and feel bliss. It draws from level 1 to level 2 poses, and strings them together to create sequences that help you build stamina, balance, and strength. It is invigorating, but will leave you with a sense of peace and calm.
This is a powerful sequence that builds a lot of heat. Intermediate to established practitioners will have the opportunity to challenge their strength through arm balances, inversions, and advanced pranayama (breathing exercises). This class will take you to your edge as you focus on keeping your core engaged and mind centered.
This is the tradition 26 pose sequence established by Bikram. Temperature is set at 103 degrees. It is very detoxifying and revitalizing for the body. (One hour)
This is the perfect treat to the end of your day. Gentle poses will be held for 10-15 mins while you are propped up with bolsters, blocks, and walls for the deepest relaxation. This class is an hour and 15 mins.
Hot Series Express
This is the tradition 26 pose sequence established by Bikram. Temperature is set at 103 degrees. It is very detoxifying and revitalizing for the body. ( 50 min)
This class style stems from the traditional yoga established in India,learned by one of Bridget's guru's Vishketu. It is an hour and fifteen mins long and will incorporate meditation, chanting, and pranayamas into the slow Hatha movements
In this class poses are held for 1-3 mins to reach the maximum potential for stretch and surrender. Very relaxing, and very beneficial to the body.
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.
This class will lay out the basic foundation and alignment of each pose while slowly flowing them together. It will teach you how to integrate the breath into the practice as you weave the poses together.
This is a FREE community gathering that will vary each week between Kirtan (chanting/singing), meditation, and discussion.
GET FIT with this core based, aerobic meets yoga high energy class! This class is 50 mins and guaranteed to work those abs! Slightly Heated.
This gorgeous class will incorporate the chakra system into the poses. The charkas are energy centers in the body. This class will inform you on what poses benefit which chakras, and how to balance out the chakras.
This class is a moving meditation designed to make you sweat and feel bliss. It draws from level 1 to level 2 poses, and strings them together to create sequences that help you build stamina, balance, and strength. It is invigorating, but will leave you with a sense of peace and calm. It is done in a heated room at 90 Degrees.
Work Break Flow
This quick 50 min class is the perfect break in your 8-hour day. It will quickly build to a flow, and bring you down to cool off with a full 5 mins rest before heading back to your day.
Strength & Mindfulness
This beautiful class will balance the breath with movement. The focus will be on slowing down and quieting the mind while strengthening the physical body. You can expect a long meditation and slow strength building poses.
